IQ does not test for emotional and social intelligence. Something I bet you'd score low in! But a high IQ does seem to give you the right to be a douchebag and justify oppression.

Emotional intelligence is also about exclusion of talent and skills. It is being pushed a lot in the business world as an alternative in the hiring selection. Instead of focusing on talents and skills they use Emotional intelligence.

For leaders, having emotional intelligence is essential for success. After all, who is more likely to succeed – a leader who shouts at his team when he's under stress, or a leader who stays in control, and calmly assesses the situation?

I agree. It’s also important to know how and what triggers your emotions so you can control them and not the other way around. Especially important working in Criminal Justice.

A distinction, between the kind of intelligence, which allows someone to solve complex mathematical problems or process large amounts of information. The kind of intelligence which allows someone to understand the emotional complexities/behaviours and accurately read feelings.

I thought emotional intelligence was when you were capable of reserving it for when it was called for. If so, that would make you smarter.

This is an idiotic statement. The ability to read emotion and respond to people is a gift that we often refer to as “charisma”. You can’t test that with a few square patterns.

Emotional intelligence definitely an additional discipline that can be learned & should definitely be mandatory teaching in all leftist schools as clear the radical immaturity & emotional lack of control of leftists. I also use EQ skills to manage Em dealing w evil, BS, attitude
