"History is worse than fiction – it’s fantasy." Yes, and it's fantasy written by the victors to further oppress the vanquished. The best examples in the USSA are the histories written by Northern lackey historians about the misnamed "Civil War."
Always remember – this is “history” with video cameras and social media. Imagine how much was lied about in the past, before the truth could be shared around the world. History is worse than fiction – it’s fantasy.

There is a lot more than that and it goes back a thousand years. A lot of that knowledge was deleted by Christian monks transcribing some old documents on behalf of the Church of Rome. The same happened all over Europe, and in Russia by Romanov tsars who followed Rome.

I think the rise of instant video sharing is offset by lower standards of education and integrity.Historians of the early 20th century and before wanted to write accounts that were as close as possible to what they believed was the truth.The revisionists had different priorities.
