Is history still taught in school? Some of these people think that “white people” invented the idea of invading & conquering foreign lands. Mexico was once inhabited by Incans, Mayans & Aztecs before being conquered by the Spanish. But nobody gives present-day Mexicans grief.

Meanwhile, Native American civilizations were cruelly sacrificing human beings on an industrial scale. Europeans had long since abandoned this.

Out of the thousands of individual nations, can you provide a list of which were practicing human sacrifice at an industrial scale? Also, weren't Europeans still burning witches at the stake? Please tell me how bloodthirsty the Kumeyaay are?

History is all of it, not just the bits that suit you up until and excluding the bits that don't, every race has suffered the same throughout history, there is no moral high ground, there are no unique circumstance or privillage only time, what was normal in that era and attitude

I would say this instead : I don't care about the suffering of your ancestors, because mine suffered just as much and I don't really care about that either. I care about me, you, us, now and in the future.
