I’m not sure that stolen money can ever be a gifthttps://twitter.com/TonyDegidio/status/1086778346749546497 …

A tax cut isn't a gift, no matter who gets it. It's less theft. A subsidy is a gift.

Government keeps the poor poor. Poverty had been on a steady downward trend for years, until government declared a War on Poverty in 1964. Hasn't changed more than a percent or 3 in over 50 years. . .

What has changed substantially is the number of people dependent on government who will never seek to improve their lot in life, and remain in poverty.

One can only gift what one owns. Theft is not a legitimate transfer of ownership. Receiving stolen property is different from receiving a gift.

The government taking money from people is theft but the government taking money from people and then giving that money to other people is a-okay. Some sound logic there.

It can be, but usually only fences deal in stolen property.

If you earn a massive amount of wealth through congressional bribes and corporate propaganda, shouldn't that wealth count as stolen money from the working class?
