I hate this statement for sooo many reasons. Not least of which is that society at large encourages women to be sexually promiscuous. It feels like one of the greatest feats of misdirection perpetuated upon women was to tell them that promiscuity = empowerment.

But then to claim to be enlightened yet to berate and cast them out instead of giving them the tools for actual empowerment seems pretty small to me. Less of the biblical stuff and more intellectual empowerment please!

Also, where are the "husband material"men? This is a two way street!
-
You already answered this yourself. Would you take a man who has been with everything that has a heartbeat? I'm still stunned that the lie keeps being told that men think it's OK for men to do that.

Women that have had a lot of sexual partners have essentially gotten used to leaving relationships and changing partners. There are chemicals in our brain that keep us bonded to our partners but if over time you train yourself to ignore these, you are then more likely to break up

Well, there is some degree of damage done, as science has shown that women who have premarital sex have an increased difficulty bonding with their husband.
-
Could you link to the research pls, I’d like to read it.

That will get you started in the right direction, Jason.

I don’t agree. It’s just science: what you don’t know won’t hurt you.

If one (man or woman) treats sex casually, then why and how is it supposed to mean anything of significance after you’re married?

That’s what I am trying to say. Physical intimacy is, well, intimate. If you treat that intimacy with disregard for its impact on yourself and the other person, if you engage casually for recreational purposes, then it’s going to be rather difficult to suddenly view it

If you are considered ‘hot’ by the opposite sex- then it’s not womenizing as much as being womanized- and plain fun. Same is true for woman. If you weren’t hot in your 20’s you wouldn’t understand
