Statistically, the more sexual partners a woman has, the more likely she is to divorce you if you get married. And yes, it is dose-dependent.https://twitter.com/sarahnpratt/status/1086473158641610753 …

Having access to more sexual partners makes a difference for both sexes. People who live and marry in rural areas tend to have stronger marriages simply because the temptation to go elsewhere is low. Managing distractions is very important.

Note: a "stable marriage" constitutes 5 yrs married, but anyone who divorced at year 6 would call it failed, and in many cases, a life ruining experience. Imagine the real stats with actual real marriages - 20-40 years, with children. Unserious partners = Prostitution - Money.

But nobody tells girls they're being used by slobs who don't have money for escorts. They get to pretend it's real love at 19, and become serial monogamists, and fail every time. They'll find out by 27-29, looking backwards, but by then it's too late: You were a hunk of meat.

Isn't it more cause than effect? Women who abstained from pre-marital sex likely did so for reasons of religious conviction, which would also account for higher rates of stable marriages as their religious conviction would make them more likely to work hard on their marriages.
