And COBOL is still around. Just two weeks ago I wrote some code to convert copybooks and (EBCDIC) data to something we can use on our platform. Luckily for me: There are people out there writing libraries which do the most of the work. :-)

Seems like COBOL and Hogan are where a lot of the money is in programming these days. All the ancient financial entities still use and maintain mainframes running on those old things I guess?
