Just so people understand, Europeans have a long-standing cultural imperative of marrying outside of family. This is not true of most of the rest of the world throughout history. European Empires were not an accident.

Anthropologists spent decades documenting the complex ways different societies manage kinship to ensure variety. Most have elaborate rules and customs to make this work. And European royal families inbred to a greater extent than anyone else for centuries. So - not really.

The planet is a closed system, so the "gene pool" is limited in any case.
