And many Hispanics are Catholic or some form of Christian. They don't seem to mind that the Dems are more than happy to take their votes while at the same time taking their God. How anyone who claims to be Christian votes Dem is baffling let alone when its a people as a whole.

What’s interesting is that among Hispanics, those who are the most European (i.e. Spanish or Portuguese) and less American Native, vote far more conservatively than their darker counterparts, like the Cuban exiles and Bolsonaro’s base.

Wrong. Legal Hispanic immigrants are for the most part conservative and have marriages and strong family union. Illegal ones are just brainwashed to whatever flavor of politics is in the news.

The only predominantly conservative Hispanics you can find in the US are Cubans, but they're no way the bulk of Hispanic immigration in the US.

And iirc, Obama punished the Cubans after trump got elected by eliminating that protection status any Cuban fleeing from their country got once they touched US soil.
