These insane notions that Intelligence Quotient is "an illusion" are becoming increasingly dangerous. This is what happens when you remove Dodge Ball from elementary schools. Suddenly too many people believe that the only thing stopping them is somebody else.

Hmm I don’t know. Remember in “Armageddon” when they trained a bunch of drilling rig guys how to fly a space ship and blow up an asteroid instead of teaching some astronauts how to drill a hole? Think about that one. (I used to work on drilling rigs and thought it was hilarious)

You don't know rocket scientists like I do. You might not be so confident in that statement otherwise. Here's how aerospace works. Engineer designs a rocket. The worker who builds it is the one who finds the fatal flaws. They work together to understand it. I know this 1st hand.

Basic farming isn't anywhere as complicated as that. It's not even on par with freshman calculus or freshman physics. It's more like drafting or surveying.
-
its interesting that farming was the impetus of civilization and rocketry will likely be the impetus toward its demise. Civilization cant exist with out slavery. Freedom is a lie. Freedomain is a hollow sales pitch. I dont even think Molyneux is a bad guy. I just think he's naive

Most rocket scientists I have met have difficulty with the practicality of farming. I seem to recall there have been a few farmers who have built rockets in their backyards.

What's the explanation for why European art (music, literature, painting, sculpture) is superior to people groups with higher IQ? Was it the effect of stringent, rote learning at the Mandarin schools?

I understand where you're coming from. We had a Marine that passed a genius and autism test. But didn't know the sun went from East to West and that you could tell time from it. Common in military for "smart" people to be in charge but can't learn to change a lightbulb in a truck
