1. IQ test are strong predictors of job performance, regardless of education. Think how much it would help the poor if you could submit an IQ test with a job application. You wouldn’t have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on college, just a couple hundred on a test.
3. It is legally problematic in most Western countries to use an IQ test to filter potential candidates. Governments and universities want to trick young people into paying for their own leftist indoctrination, a simple IQ test does not achieve that.
Our military says there is an IQ level below which there is nothing they can assign you to do that is not counter-productive. They won't even let you enlist. Why then, should you be able to Chair a House Committee, say, when unable to pass that test?
