1. IQ test are strong predictors of job performance, regardless of education. Think how much it would help the poor if you could submit an IQ test with a job application. You wouldn’t have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on college, just a couple hundred on a test.

Degrees are purely status symbols. You would learn more relevant information by actually working in the field. Only exception is in the sciences.

Yea, true. Maybe something similar to the astronaut testing at nasa. A full body and mind test over several weeks. Then people get given levels in certain fields. They can then pick what level of work they would like to persue with those scores. Society and people would benefit.
