2. One reason colleges and universities oppose and denigrate IQ testing is because it is a far cheaper and more efficient competitor to their bloated and ridiculous “education.”

3. It is legally problematic in most Western countries to use an IQ test to filter potential candidates. Governments and universities want to trick young people into paying for their own leftist indoctrination, a simple IQ test does not achieve that.

4. Also, the results of a blind IQ test – where no one knows race and sex - would reveal that the free market is in fact very fair, and generally pays according to IQ. This would destroy the leftist fantasy that all inequality results from bigotry.

5. In order to maintain the fantasy that all inequality results from bigotry, the left is willing to drown vulnerable groups – esp blacks and Hispanics - in hundreds of billions of dollars of student debt Accepting IQ differences is kind to everyone except the hopelessly corrupt

6. Basically, HR departments don’t want to filter candidates by IQ tests, because they would probably score pretty low themselves. Same for government hiring standards.

I find recruitment just about the hardest part of my biz. Would be very useful to have iq data to add to the evident personailty/character traits we are able to clearly identify.

It's been ruled unconstitutional in Griggs v Duke Power back in 1971. That's what started the drive for getting a college degree, it's the legal way an employer can quickly weed out the illiterate.

There are way better ways to filter, if one is creative. Any company can ask for something as simple as an essay. My company does this, we ask for 500 words (min) explaining the business and client relationship and why the customer is important. Works well.

I don’t 100% disagree, but a true IQ test is administered one on one and takes almost all day. I’ve had 2, they don’t tell you the score. From what I saw twice, “exceptionally gifted” Yo, I did get to pass go to a UC at age 16 by taking junior college classes in High school.

Yea, good point. Also people need to stop the whole college is for all myth. It isn’t, not everyone is cut out. With all the initiatives to get kids in college I think the last stat I heard was only 38% of American’s have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.

There are other things besides IQ for predictions of job performance. Motivation, character, work ethic etc.

Sounds very reasonable. So is there a standard IQ test which is readily available and reliable, or are they all locked up somewhere in the filing cabinets of elites?

Available online.

better yet, the employers needing such considerations, offering to pay for the test to be done by a source they trust & a method they trust...much like drug screening is done.

Which test would suffice? There are several different types of IQ test, kicking out different results for the same person.
