For IQ to have a real effect, there must be a free market meritocracy in place, or at least parts thereof–look at the North Koreans versus the South Koreans, genetically the same, SK has dozens of times the GDP. No one really knows who the fastest runner is if running is illegalhttps://twitter.com/Dontreachyngbld/status/1086009372415672322 …

We are implying causality between nationwide avg IQ and economic success. How to explain the low GDP/cap of places such as China and Mongolia, which have avg IQs at least as high as the US.

"free market meritocracy " is perhaps better understood when phrased as "hierarchies of competency".

Meritocracy is a total myth. NK/SK is what happens when a corrupt junta goes into total isolation and is competing with a country with the full financial and material support of the richest nation on earth.

@StefanMolyneux, please: define the term "meritocracy" show the causality between the 3 variables you used. how do you isolate the variables and reproduce the same conditions? GDP is flawed to it's core, do you recognize that? what is your epistemological fundamentation? thanks.

South Korea has an even lower birth rate than Japan now. Its culture is dying, like in Japan. How did it come to this???

Is there a chicken and egg effect here? I've seen estimates from 50% to 85% of the impact of genetics on IQ. But what if it's the low end, 50%? It may be worth experimenting w/ environmental factors to help populations reach potential where they are not now.

Ironically its the sense of real property ownership and free movement that drives most individuals to high levels of success , which explains why social justice goons like to threaten people with the loss of said liberties.
