That change, form less to more accurate, could be described as an evolution in accuracy by someone with the mental agility to read context. I know you prefer to assign numbers to intelligence to make it easier for you to comprehend, but it's really just not that simple.

The left likes "science" when it comfirms their biases. So much of science today seems politically driven, like so much in modern life, so you can't trust it. I wonder if it's sways been this way and,I'm just seeing it more as an older, wiser guy.

It does make sense. Data is the selective pressure acting on theories and hypotheses. As new data is gained, through more accurate/precise methods, theories and hypotheses rise and fall.
