Did you know 'domestic violence' was renamed 'intimate partner violence' when it was realised mothers are the #1 cause of domestic violence within the family

How many times have you seen a dad screaming at his kids in a Walmart? Never. How many times have you seen a mom scream at kids in a Walmart? It happens so often it's a stereotype.

Leading cause of death in the us for children 1-3 is criminal homicide by the mother. Fun fact of the day

My mother hit me weekly. My dad rarely, and usually at the request of my mother. Mothers are teaching violence and bullying before kids ever get to school, but it is ignored.

True, the only time I remember being spanked was by my mother it was a firm pad on my behind in the hallway. She also poked me at times when I was older to stop me from what I was doing . My dad never hit me and is very anti spanking, as he was spanked as a child.

Bingo. There were a lot of us with angry, abusive mothers. At 12 years of age I put a stop to it by wrestling away the big wooden spoon and threatening violence myself. Then I got on with my life.

You are absolutely right. I had stand up to my boys and tell them I was the ruler of the house they would have taken over it. I had to be strong as their father was away a lot. I was not about to be abused by my children. That said they Love and respect me.

dads didnt need to hit. the child didn't want the power of that punch. mums pack less wallop and could be brought against the slightest infraction. shes the small guns. dads non-intervention gainst mummy meant he was in on it & his guns too could be brought to bear, deadlier guns

One day I was in the college library and some lady was repeatedly hitting her son who looked about 14 years old. She would say "do you want another 'smack'" and then hit him. I think he was mentally challenged... I didn't know what to do and didn't want to make it worse...

Oh yeah, both parents were physically/mentally abusive to me, and each other. With my father it was almost always alcohol fuelled. My mother didn't drink, she didn't need to, to her violence came easy.
