I'm afraid we have solved world hunger only to allow the marginal population to overpopulate. When they have drained the productive nations, their hunger will be greater than ever.
This is why the world declines. The products of high IQ can be “redistributed.” IQ cannot be. It gets worse until we learn.

BIG BIG problem with IQ, it gets conflated with racism and people are unwilling to accept it cuz IQ is largely genetic and no one knows how to increase it. It's a battle between facts vs feelings. Feelings usually win in the short-medium term.

Ok so the IQ debate is interesting, but china is listed as being in the top 4 countries for IQ. Look at the way the people behave they have very little regard for human life. There workplace safety is terrible, they have a "hit to kill" culture among drivers, that hit pedestrians

The factor which made Euro civs successful was and is not primarily IQ. There is another component almost nobody talks about - a factor related to trust.

Good point, from the 8 pillars of trust, there is quiet a few pillars missing in countries like china. Connection, and compassion come to mind.

You assume that 'learning' will somehow correct this arrangement. The lower IQ just naturally come to outnumber the higher IQ when you remove the restrictions on their fecundity via the products of high IQ, & they then thereby overwhelm the higher IQ & take over.

Hey what is with all this Orwellian, cynical IQ talk? High IQ is a great predictor of success but it’s not the end all be all. If everybody in the world had a super high IQ we’d all be weirdos with such emphasis on “genius ideas” and technology that we’d become social zombies.
