Human demand and desires are limitless. You wouldn’t be satisfied even with improvement in technology. An average joe today lives just as well as the Kings and Queens a few hundred years ago, yet here we are talking about inequality, min wage, high cost of living.

Hard landing is the most likely outcome and can be more beneficial to the west in the long-term than a soft landing. As traumatic as a hard landing would be, the scars it would leave on the west would be more likely to prevent future mistakes of this nature from occurring.
