I like D&D alot and found that lots of successful business and group leaders play D&D and specifically DM It seems to be a common stepping stone for nearly everyone who will go on to do something and an entry into basic 'small business;

And learning when to fudge the rules so everyone has a better time.

Started my daughters early. But they can only really play with other friends who are more interested in the story rather than what their characters were wearing...

An after-the-fact analysis of this genre will simply show that the d&d nerds of the 80s became more successful than the haters. We are the STEM majors of our generation.

It's funny, growing up I never actually PLAYED D&D. But I obsessively read every manual and module - it's a great introduction to reading and intellectual pursuits.
