Trapped in a barn loft, with numerous enemies outside. I made the decision to jump from the loft. The DM asked me if I was sure. I said yes. Took serious damage, but lived. Later, decided to attack dude far more powerful. Lucky rolls saved the day. The DM was flabbergasted.

Played an evil campaign where a Paladin was trying to get the town to turn on us. My cousin's character had 20 charisma and rolled a 20. Convinced the mob that the Paladin was the evil one and they killed him while we were applauded as heroes.

I had a character die once because we were getting attacked by creatures that drained Intelligence. He got hit so many times that his IQ dropped to zero, so he died instantly with no saving throws. Perhaps a lesson to learn for real life haha.

And with his dying breath he spoke softly these words: "The earth is flat...."

This one adventure I completely stacked the odds against the group(with a chance of survival with some clever tactics) An old fort overrun by orcs and goblins and an ogre brute commanding. The boys smoked em out, picked em off with missile weapons, spells, some trickery

My favorite moment was that one time I was able to convince enough people to actually play a single session with me.

Priest's quartes and insisted on stealing the jade statue on the altar first, foremost, and no matter what. She played being posessed with greed to the hilt. Seeing another generation learning the freedom of imagination in the game is a great source of joy.

Fun times. I had a quest literally from Romeo and Juliet. Six sessions in, everyone was dead (including Romeo and Juliet) and the group was fighting dragons and Illythids. The Montagues and Capulets united against them to turn them into state fugitives.

I made a villain who had his family destroyed by the merchants guild. The party ended up killing each other because the villains cause was noble but his methods were unsanctioned by the king. What do you follow, your king or your morals? They couldn't decide.

During a campaign riddled with zombies, the DM had the party in an encounter with a large group all in a line to be scary. The party wizard got an idea, ran around and fired a lighting bolt down the line, killing all but three. The DM sat there stunned.

A dragon got sucked into a cursed book that my players found. They put the book in a bag of holding and didn't investigate it for many sessions. In a climactic battle, one player died and spilled this bag, the book fell open, and a very angry dragon went on a rampage.

I refused to run from a fight with my ranger lord vs Vaprak the Destroyer and they killed one another. Then he was resurrected by his goddess Mielikki, became a dual class paladin. Decades later Drizzt fantasy novels would use Mielikki as the goddess for that famous ranger.
