Agreed. It's called context. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS. In terms of their immigration status, they are ILLEGALS. You actually think most people that say 'illegals', think they were BORN illegal? And thus lies the problem with the Left, Your implicit bias. Respectfully.

Exactly. Did you not read my tweet? It's in context of their citizenship and immigration status. When people say ' illegal', they don't mean inherent. They mean STATUS in the country.

'It doesn’t matter what they mean' So it doesn't matter what you mean, as long as I can disagree with the language? Do you really wanna play that game, which would be never ending? CONTEXT matters. If it doesn't, there's no point to all this.

Well, that's kind of a back track. You made this tweet: 'You’re misinterpreting her tweet. She’s implying that no human being is *inherently* illegal. ' Stefan already knew that. So logically, one would assume that you did/do have a problem with the term. Inference.

Ridiculous. We don’t call tax dodgers “illegal citizens.” We call them crooks. Or we should. Why do we call people who immigrate illegally “illegal immigrants?” Why are they defined by one crime while others aren’t?

I happen to dislike tax dodgers more than undocumented immigrants. Can I call them “illegal taxpayers” so that we don’t soften the crime? “Tax evasion” also avoids saying they broke the law!

Tax evaders and land invaders.
