If there is a white privilege, then why is there affirmative action for non-whites? Why do white males pay a disproportionately high amount of taxes? Why are white birthrates declining? Why do white males killed themselves in such high numbers? there is a real suffering out herehttps://twitter.com/TonyAce9/status/1084124999898812417 …

There is white privilege just like all other privilege. Tall privilege. Attractiveness privilege. Intelligence privilege. Skinny privilege. Wealth privilege. It’s all relative.

The answer is contained in your question. Affirmative action helps UNDERPRIVILEGED people. Privileged people are generally richer, so they pay more tax. Birth rates decline as standards of living go up. Male suicide rates are high in many places, not just for white males.

Whatever happened to the pension crisis ? There was all this talk about the baby boomers and the massive population growth that we wont be able ti pay pensions for. Now canada wants 1 million more migrants over 5 years, how are we going to afford to pay for both ?

Last place I was a manager at, I saw HR meeting reports and notes that were starting to suggest managers be given a "diversity scorecard". Plus take "inclusivity training". To assure managers had an "equal" representation on their teams. As opposed to hiring based on merit.

Why not allow people to have whatever biases or prejudices they want to have. Why do we need to prescribe to people which biases are acceptable.

So if I have a black coworker who makes the same amount of money as me and claims the same number of dependents, than I should see a difference in our withheald taxes for the pay period? Is this what you are saying? Very easy to find out.

The premise of all arguments about privilege is to assert that the subjective emotional experience is of greater importance than objective facts.

Because there is also White burden. Just as there is black priveledge. And tall priveledge and burden. The issue is at hand is a pigheaded focus to fill a narative. Men in STEM;Men not looking after children. Women in Law; Women not looking after children.

Affirmative action was one of the reasons I didn't get into my preferred profession. I most likely could have pushed and pushed and eventually persevered but I didn't do that so ultimately, my fault in the end. Should not have been an issue though, it's discrimination at the core
