    IQ is far from the only issue when it comes to immigration and cultural compatibility. Many Chinese, for instance, have a high IQ, but a strong in-group preference and a lack of empathy for outsiders - they are currently buying up large sections of countries like Australia. Bad.

        More recently, Australia has been strongly discouraging more property investment from foreigners. Turns out that a significant portion of the money coming from China was criminal money being laundered. Any non-Australian who wants to buy property must get approved by a board...

        ... and they can only buy residential property if it's a new building. Further, there is an extra up-front cost for foreigners now, and a heavy annual tax.

        Also South Africa has a massive Chinese presence. I believe they even have Chinese-only police forces in certain areas and they are beginning to demand Mandarin be taught as the 2nd language in schools.

        A few years ago the Chinese attempted to coerce the Australians into rejecting their allegiance to the USA by signing on to a future Chinese hegemony. Oz rejected their overtures, but the Chinese are unlikely to give up.

        Control the Panama Canal port, bid for another in Turkey I believe. Buying land everywhere else. I can see it as others can, but our gutless government is sitting on their hands “serving us.”
