I’ve never had FB. Am anonymous online since 90s and encouraged my children to always hide their identities. Joining sites? “give false details” I said. My friends think I’m shy or scared of social media haha! Privacy can’t be bought. Far sightedness rewards

I was sick telling my family, siblings and friends for years to not be so open and stupid about their data online. No photos. No private info. Probably the most stupid thing anyone can do. It’s totally different if it’s needed for work, like you Stefan.

What does a private FB account have to do with your productivity in the workplace. As long as you don't use your employer's pc or premises to post on FB, isn't this discriminating against your freedom of expression.

This happened to my aunt last year. Someone posted something on FB and she “liked” it costing her the job she held for 30 years! No warning, write up etc. just straight up termination after all that time.

The fact a colleague reported this and fact their FB private personal account likes are used as a reason to dismiss is truly shocking in how low society has drifted and nobody seems to even worry about it???...
