Women vote, extend the welfare state, and create an incentivized feedback loop of single mothers. Since women don't pay a net tax and are the majority of voters, it becomes a Scooby Doo mystery on how to solve the problem.

I mean we can't make sweeping changes to universal suffrage. That would just be mean.

It becomes a question of if we are already at a point of no return and at this stage, I can't honestly say we are or not. But something needs to be done soon to correct the fertility rate before the gov starts importing people like we see in the UK as some hamfisted reaction.

Just to be even handed here, I think about 75% of people who currently vote should not. Regardless of gender. The bevy of low-information reactionary voters is why entitlement spending is over 60% of the US budget and why people think "assault weapon" means something.

I would lean towards a system similar to what we had before universal suffrage. One based on personal responsibility. For example, tying voting rights to being a net taxpayer. It would actively incentivize smaller gov and careful considerations on spending and welfare.
