I don’t think that syphilis and getting cancer from tobacco were massive boons to the European economies, both came from North America. Also the whites weren’t responsible for smallpox, the bio-weapon slander is a total myth. For real slaughter, look up Muslim invasion of Indiahttps://twitter.com/GhostVirusX/status/1083033609194201093 …

The colonization of "the Americas", at the expenses of millions of Indigenous lives, was an unprecedented boost of economic steroids into European coffers. And historians attribute much of its "success" to Europeans beings disease-ridden (smallpox) people, using foreign tech☝OP

What's funny is the English and French pinning on the Spanish a "genocide" of the indigenous population... Even funnier is most of my compatriots believe it!

Inconvenient truth - according to Mulim hitorian the Moghal invasion of India killed 400m indians over an 800 year occupation that reduced the population from 600m to 200m, the biggest genocide in history. https://blog.sami-aldeeb.com/2018/03/18/islamic-invasion-of-india-the-greatest-genocide-in-history/ …

Nobody gets cancer from tobacco. . . it's a myth. 1960-present: Tobacco use drops from almost 50% of the population to well under 20% 1960-present: Lung cancer rates have doubled in men, tripled in women. Something else causes cancer.

Most of the supposed massive genocide was just a conversion of Buddhist & Hindus into Islam. Except in few dozenwars & justice courts most genocide were not much The invasions actually added diversity of hundred million people of Iran & Central Asian ancestry

Have been noticing in the news that syphilis has re-occurred amongst Australian Aborigines and the government is having troubles preventing this. Which seems to correlate with stefans premise.

The intentional spreading of smallpox is not a myth. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12003378  And defending actions via whataboutism is extraordinarily dishonest.

The most recent data suggests that seals were the carriers of small pox to north America and preceded European peoples by a couple of decades.
