Yes it does work that way. Slavery was a worldwide industry. Western civilization was the first to deem it wrong and abolish it. It still happens throughout the non-Western world.

The idea that Slavery was a worldwide thing has elements of falsehoods. What's applicable to one patch within an ecosystem isnt necessarily extrpolatable to the whole ecosystem. It's like saying that Since Antarctica is icy, earth must be icy.

What are you attempting to argue here? There has been slavery all over the world. There still is slavery in certain parts of the world. There was massive slave trading outside of the US during the American slave trade. The West abolished slavery first.

1) Machinery did. Btw. ending slavery was first endorsed by the Zoroastrians. 2) Correlation != Causation. The ex-British colonies often had pre-existing structures. If the native population hasn't been exterminated 3) AA is thought to fix past inequalities.
