Racism is hard-wired. An evolutionary process selected for. In the struggle for survival over most of the last hundred thousand years or so, 'those different people' were competition for resources - competition that meant life or death. Anyone not racist died off quickly.

We are so conditioned to learn what we are taught without questions. Blind obedience.

Social darwinism already shows why those populations lagged behind. They settled for less rather than innovate and change.

It's only painfully obvious to those who don't go along with the prevailing view without questioning it. It has to be accepted, which is incidentally a big concern for democracy, there's a majority that in intellectual terms are nothing but cattle (including experts & academics)

Probably because in North America we've consistently struggled with white supremacy movements and oppression of others, including the groups you named. Doesn't make much sense to worry about asain supremacy in this country. If I lived in China I'd be very worried about it.

Well you do “intentionally ignore racism to preserve power,” so I think this definition fits.

In the thread, we were talking specifically about white supremacy. I see what you are saying, but it certainly puts what I am saying here in a context that doesn't really make sense. Someone was talking about white supremacy, and I was offering a definition of that specifically.

I've been wondering this for years. Every other race and nationality can have pride (Asian pride, black pride, etc.) but if you say white pride, you're automatically labelled a member of the KKK and a white supremacist. It's fascinating.
