You can't argue that. Even if they are wealthy, they still struggle.

Thank you, oh wise one. I couldn't imagine how I could possibly survive without your insight, my intellectual genius friend. Me oh my, you're so "gifted".

The Rhesus Factor was discovered in the monkies, but even they don't all have it. It's just another protein marker, and easier to go from 4 bloodtypes to 8 with a + or - than say someone has type E blood or something.

It's a protein set influenced by a gene, but can be expressed a number of ways (look up Rh-null). Rh D is what we describe as + or - and apart from some toxoplasmid response, Rh status doesn't afford you any disease immunity. You may be confusing the malaria bit with sickle cell

That's so sad. Do they have poorer health by choice, like they don't think about it, or eat bad food, or is it genetic? And is that the reason plagues hit them the hardest or are there other reasons? (Genuinely interested)

One of your detractors stumbled on a better answer. The plague killed off most people in the cities. K-selected farmers mostly survived.

Uh, no, I can't accept that generalization based on modern lifestyles. A medieval genius may have been more conscientious abt thier health than a fool but the state of medicine was so primitive that their solicitude might have done them no good.
