Stefan actually had Flynn on for an interview, as well as Michael Woodley who gave an extremely telling critique of the Flynn effect with respect to the heritable part of IQ scores. Look them up.

The IQ scores can vary with environment as well. For example a set of identical twin might score differently if one of the happens to sneeze during test, which can cost 5 upto 5 IQ points. All these theories are small buckets which can only explain trends in some demographics.

Your example is made up. IQ comparisons of identical twins show a correlation in the .80s over all circumstances, including separation at birth.
