In about 100 years, European governments have produced: 1. Two world wars 2. One massive depression 3. Endless booms and busts 4. Mass migration that threatens western civilization 5. Bottomless government debt 6. Propagandistic “education” But yeah, anarchists are craaazy.

No just unrealistic like any true idealist. Even laissez faire can only work within a framework of laws. A Sowellian mindset to tackle the absurdity of Rawlsian philosophy.

Anarchism is not the lack of rules and law but the lack of rulers. The framework exists but is private and under free market, no taxes.

Anarchy is the opposite of rule and law it is as utopian a notion as socialism. A truly unconstrained vision where one has to believe that we can live in equilibrium without laws while maintaining property rights in a world of scarce resources..

This is the irony of the democratic endeavour. Bound by time our human experience cannot correlate all its contents - egalitarian rhetoric sells..

Anarchists just lead to more crazy. Bathwater and baby analogy. Unless they have a rock solid idea with a towering philosopher behind them and a plan to keep destruction out the transition Europe is just going to get another gory French Revolution.

WWII and preceeding depression? Read Lords of Finance. Plenty of blame to be shared by European and US central banks. That and destabilization of Germany by war reparations from WWI

Yeah, but they've also single handedly created the most divergent and thriving civilization to ever exist since the Roman era. I mean, credit where credit is due, man.

Anarchism is a crazy idea- it's the idea society can live without governing bodies. The problem is they can't. A governing body has jobs of keeping the peace, dispensing justice, settling disputes, etc. The reason govt came into existence is because of necessity.

Except, origin of USA (ex) was just shy of an anarchaic system. They purposefully made it that way. Just on the cusp to have it so the citizens could overturn things the moment they smelled corruption. But as less and less were taught what the founders wanted, we became this....

No, they understood the necessity of government and the ability for power to corrupt. This was nowhere near anarchy, but a heavy emphasis on checks and balances, where we could have order and not mob rule or a tyrannical king.
