I would make the modest effort of carrying the dozen books if it affords me the benefit of reading properly and with pleasure.

I used to agree with you (although I would never pass judgement on those who preferred not to) then I had trouble finding the books I wanted to take in LARGE PRINT now that my eyes tire so easily..... Your "reading properly" is a really STUPID thing to say.......
