Each country is an experiment, testing the viability of it's ideas, culture, etc, & there are many whose ways vary greatly from our own. The only reason you think we should just mix them all together is because you're in one that works well. Some are terrible & should change.

Society is a better term than culture IMO. In strict interpretation culture means objects. Regardless my contention is that the basis of society is the family. Family strong then society strong and visa versa.

The concept of "Rome" was not valued. The glory of Rome just wasn't cool to espouse at parties. When the tribes came, Rome couldn't even raise a legion. No one believed Rome was worth dying for. The same thing will happen to America one day if the left keeps stomping.
