Aristotle is the father of categories. He is the very cornerstone of Western Science / Philosophy. However, the problem of separation of Subject / Object is exactly the loneliness and the longing of existence. The answer is more Kantian—“a kingdom of ends.” Good old Immanuel Kant

Too bad the Kingdom of Ends is impossible, and cannot even be aimed at as an ideal properly, because Kant was wrong.
-
It’s only impossible if we throw out the golden rule and the unity of God with it. Of course, you’re right in that our current socio-economic configuration makes it impossible and certainly socialism like free market capitalism, has really never been tried. Cronyism rules us all.
-
Except you know, Kant does throw out the unity of God. Because he's a enlightenment thinker.

If Buddah accepted things as they were, how did anyone come to hear about Buddhism?

The issue with the Buddhist high level meaning of this is total detachment, which results in true Buddhist’s leaving their families and anything at all that they are attached too. Self inflicted suffering isn’t the best idea, yet suffering obviously will always exist.
-
Suffering is only psychological. Pain is physical. Suffering is due to our distortions in understanding the interconnectedness with ALL THAT IS.

Speaking of Aristotle, please look at my code which I named Aristotle. https://github.com/SlightlyCyborg/Aristotle …. It is the code that runs http://search.jordanbpeterson.com . I made one for you last year as well.
-
Please just acknowledge that you have looked at it. I can't stop notifying you until you at least acknowledge you've seen what I built.
-
I built this at great risk to myself while homeless. After building the app I started working in a Manhattan robotics lab, but that is a story for another time. Maybe I can talk about it on your show at somepoint "The power of persistence" could be its name. Lol

Buddha never said this, it's a fake quote. He said that when you experience suffering you know your potential for joy. He never said Life is suffering.

Btw- accepting things as they are doesn't mean not trying. It is only the acceptance of the outcome after complete efforts have been made. It is a sort of detachment from the outcome while at the same time working to achieve that outcome. A paradox.
