Would be interested in the context of this. Anecdotally, the mixed raced kids of my acquaintance (about 10) are all great kids because they have diligent parents who are married to each other. Works that way for the "mono" raced kids, too, of course.

I think that women of all races can be attractive, but I'm *generally* not excited about Race Mixing. Let Whites mix with Whites, blacks with blacks, Chinese with Chinese, Indians with Indians & so on. This is compartmentalization - not discrimination.

I am just now seeing this quote tweet, I appreciate you actually presenting a study. There may be an increased “risk” of identities problems and that is fair. Your statement did not mention risk, it was definitive. It was all mixed children. It made no room for parenting.

It is one thing to point out increased risks, it is another thing to paint an entire group of people with such a brush. You said every mixed person suffers from a “myriad” of identity and psychological issues. This is patently false, and was presented in a bigoted fashion.

Mixed race people just need to research anthropology and see that its not black and white. This will probly quell any indentity issues that may arrise. Hell it did for me.

Serious question: does this also carry into asian/white babies. If a high iq white and high iq asian have a child will that increase the chances of a high iq child? I think its easier for a asian/white child to identify as 1 because their appearance isnt so drastically different

I actually agree. West Africans didn't create as much because of geographic challenges, but still, Europe did achieve more than Africa. It does not prove any individual is superior over another, but facts are facts.

@gcochran99 has mentioned that mixed East Asian/White kids had higher IQ than either group, perhaps due to ‘hybrid vigour’. The idea is that the offspring have slightly higher IQ than the expected intermediate score. So 100/105 parents end up with 107 kid -

I’m guessing that the problems would vary in proportion to the degree of racial polarization or segregation in their society. Two of my grandchildren are “mixed race” but since their society as a whole is mixed to begin with I don’t think racial identity will be an issue.

People still self segregate all the time and no law can stop that. Who they marry or live with, who they live beside and who they hang out with. It is changing, but it’s coming about through cultural change, not a change in laws.

To be clear I don’t think self segregation is a good thing. It may be a natural response to identitarianism on the left but it’s not healthy. I kind of liked the old melting pot which no one seems to talk about any more.
