    My point of disagreement here is that East Asians obviously have higher scores for a combination of reasons, primarily the investment of parents in their children’s education and the obsession with status — not “intelligence”

        That is precisely to my point. Asian success seems to be in large part explained by their adaptation to an environment where tests determine status (to put it crudely). I made no claims about the genetics, just the behavior
