I recently read IQ is less valuable than people think. Are you familiar with the studies done one how people respond to information when there is skin in the game versus how they respond when there's no motivating consequence of outcome? They score higher in the former.

I think it was also mentioned that pattern recognition questions in IQ tests can be gotten wrong by intelligent ppl because their brains are wired to be less "fooled by randomness"so they actually can't see the answer not because they're less smart, but arguably the opposite.

Pointing a different perspective. Autistic people usually have a super high IQ but SOME have difficulty in processing the information out, needing a lil extra time.
