There is a high-pitched sound in my recent YouTube videos, which is only audible on mobile devices - the audio sounds fine on a desktop. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any idea how to fix it? thank you so much in advance :-)

No, but they can be a devil to track down; if you know it’s there, just add a ‘low pass filter’ (set freq to just below where the noise goes away). (Usually with a/v editing I use nice noise cancelling headphones instead of speakers to hear any weirdness.)

It’s not showing up on my end, only after it gets processed by YouTube, and only on mobile devices

If their processing is adding it, the only option is to try different export codecs or rates. Generally less compression is better but I think it’s going to be trial and error testing.

It sounds like interference from a switching power supply. I had this issue on a USB mic where data was plugged into a PC and power was from a wall charger, plugging everything in the same host solved it. If everything fails, noise filter in audacity.

You can also try unplugging power blocks while listening for the noise until it goes away to find out which one is causing it. I'm 99% sure it's from a poorly made power supply.

I cannot hear anything wrong with the audio on the “Please Please Live!” or “Brittany P.” videos…using YouTube App on iPhone 7+ w/iOS 12.1.2. Strange.
