Yeah let me speculate on the IQ of people thousands of years dead.https://twitter.com/andrewboonedog/status/1079648577348079622 …

@StefanMolyneux When our Northern European ancestors were barbarians, did they already have high IQ or did they just have a high potential for IQ to be later maximized?

Stefan did mention about Europeans being “k-thinkers” having to prepare for harsh winters —made them better planners spanning thousands of years in existence

Think about the risk involved in leaving Africa. Do people that take risks and are low IQ die younger? Maybe the migration to Europe selected for risk taking higher IQ people. IMO, taking risk is a top driver of improved human condition.

I’m guessing making the way to Eurasia took some form of cognitive initiative.

My guess is the former. Post-modernism loves to talk about European barbarians, but it ignores pop levels. Less opp for division of labor. That when pops did reach critical mass, they equaled and exceeded non-Euro civilizations (& in harsher environ, no less), suggests higher IQs

If you claim that the genetic factor does apply then this is not a matter of speculation. You are implying from your entire argument that the Northern Europeans have a superior genetic handicap. You still fail to answer to @nntaleb 's argument.

Sorry Andrew, Stefan only speculates when it can stir up fear in order to promotion his point of view of that as a "peaceful" philosopher

"Work ethic" also has a profound role in successful people. Does work ethic correlate with IQ?

I think it’s pretty safe to speculate that anyone who lived long enough to reproduce in that era was probably not a stupid person.
