Family first. I want my son to know his mother, not strangers. We struggle at times but we never have to worry about a daycare bill. Maybe when he starts school she'll get a part time job during school hours. Or maybe when he turns 16.

Nice! I also saw a video the other day (taken secretly in a daycare) where two women were cheering on 5/6 yr old children that were fighting each other with boxing gloves on, that had been provided by the women. Good to know we are right to keep our children away.

Amen Stef. My wife & I agreed we'd never hand our kids to daycare. Ended up having twins.I work 90 hours a week to make it happen. Worth it.

Daycares and nursing homes are both people warehouses, where one stores inconvenient dependents. Humans are not designed to live that way.

Yes they are. In fact it’s probably one of the if not the biggest reason why we dominated over the other human species. We socialised, shared child raising amongst communities. Hence a more flexible , strong community.

Shared child raising does NOT equal human warehousing. The first is communal and involves deep emotional attachment prior to sharing. The second is industrial, impersonal, and cold, treating humans as commodities.

true as the daycare system grew so did dumping your parents at old folks homes. truth is senior care takers is probably the only reason to bring in cheap labor in massive droves to the states.
