But Stefan, I've watched the Big Short movie and there was nothing about this affirmative actions in mortgage, and the democrats pushing banks to give high risk credit to low income people! The banks were greedy! Salespeople were guilty! IT WAS IN THE MOVIE IT HAS TO BE TRUE!

I learned long ago not to assume ignorance in people I disagree with. There may be ignorance...but it is probably best to establish it with neutral questions first. Just a tip.

Me too. The govt loosened regs and assumed risk to get more “low-income” people into houses. It was racially driven but I have yet to see evidence of a single bank that was forced to make a loan outside of competitive market pressures... which were created by crappy policy.
