    Many women who do have children have desperately lonely second half of their lives. Children are not an insurance for old age.

        My mom stayed home with her kids. Only 1 of her 5 had kids of their own. One was happily married. Only 2 married at all. We would have been better off in daycare.

        While the idea of the stay at home moms is great. Children who skip daycare and go straight to kindergarten lag behind socially and academically. Kids need to be socialized befor the age of 4 or they will be socially awkward for the rest of their lives.
