I have actually asked several women on why they do not wish to have families at their age. Note 4 of 5 were under 30. The main issue was costs. And it was very disheartening to hear that when I want a family myself and know that the costs are worth it.

That you know it will be worth whatever the cost is sufficient. I hope you are able to have/create the family you yearn for.
-
Thank you. I come from a very large family and know of how hard times make better people. Money is simply a tool that can be replaced, family cannot be. Christ be with you.
-
You're quite welcome! I have six siblings and while growing up although money wasn't free-flowing the love always was. It's really tragic that money is the god too many serve, knowingly or otherwise.

Here you are again, Stefan, muttering on about women not having children & facing your imagined lonely second half of life. For many women, the best decision they ever made was NOT TO HAVE CHILDREN. A top crisis today: massive, irresponsible population growth.
-
If it is that case the child birth rates are increasing . Why is one of the factors for encouraging immigration into western countries low child birth rates?
-
Immigrant birth rates in the UK are 5/1 do you understand what that means? The native population is being out bred out of existence very quickly.
-
They will write the history of the end of the British People and government as we know it. We are watching it transpire before our very eyes. Beyond sad.
-
Not on my bloody watch and not if we vote in a
#UKIP government. Could be our last stand if people don't bloody wtfu.

My sister and I were born 18 months apart and our mom was in her early twenties. She repeated to us over and over that she wanted her life back and us out of the house by the time she was 38. The greatest mom ever.
@EdLatimore -
So sweet, must have made you feel so loved.

I wish I’d see more women 40-50 tell their stories about how they were propelled into their careers, afraid to have a child out of wedlock due to shame of family or stayed with men who did not want to commit. I know I’m not alone in realising not having a kid is my biggest regret
-
The other thing you’ll never see discussed is the false hope of freezing your eggs as they preach to young women in tech these days. Sure your eggs will be young but your womb ages. No one will ever tell girls that. There’s a reason the healthiest children are born to women 19-30

The loneliness epidemic is real. All it takes is one second to stop looking at your phone and glimpse around you. It's a sad reality that my intuition tells me will not fare well in the coming years. I hope I am wrong, but it is difficult not to see it once it's been observed.
-
I actually read a book that statistically more people are actively choosing to be single because it means more self fulfillment. Seeking the path you want in life without having to consider the needs of another person(s). You can be married/kids as well and still feel “alone”
-
What is the book?
-
It’s called Going Solo by Eric Klinenberg. Really opened my eyes to putting my own needs first to achieve my own happiness, not seeing a relationship because society told me that’s what we are supposed to do
-
Thank you.
