He has suggested environmental solutions to close gaps. Namely, peaceful parenting, having two-parent households. Look at how child spanking/abuse and illegitimacy rates differ between races.

Well, what do you think causes such variation, is it evolutionary, which is logically the only thing that’s left; and if so, what evolutionary drivers could cause such drastic differences in IQ; certainly different hunting strategies can’t be that significant, or can they.

It would have more to do with what was needed to survive in an environment. If lower IQ in the population are dying leaving only the higher IQ to reproduce, there is a serious pull for the genes that produce higher IQ by simply subtracting those that don't from the gene pool

So was I, The groups that lived in harsher investments where the lower IQ of their population were dying off would result in the high IQ from those populations producing more offspring because they were the only ones staying alive to do it.

There is a regression to the mean of course but over a long period of time, you can make slow changes based on selective breeding, in this case, the environment would be selecting the breeding.

Stefan, saying it is something that needs to be solved is suggesting the differences here makes one inferior to the other. It's better to see it as each group has strengths and weaknesses that are dependant on environmental factors.
