Women have been working outside of the home before ww2... Maybe not an enormous number, but the thought of ohhh no woman worked before blah blah is bs. Plenty did!

Yes, there are opportunity costs associated with women working, particularly in terms of raising children. However, I'm not advocating every woman go out and work. What I am saying is that it's clearly a boon in terms of productivity, it isn't merely a wash as some are claiming.
