During the notorious "smallpox blankets" episode, many white settlers also died. If you go far enough back into the past, you will always find what appears to be an injustice ... can we have Turkey back please?

Yes. Those Indians who went on the "Trail of Tears" to Oklahoma took their African slaves with them. In 2007 Cherokee voted to strip those descendants known as Cherokee Freedmen of their tribal rights. A judge ruled in 2017 to restore their rights. True history doesn't fit story.

They’re doing it now in Sierra Leon and Congo. Indians did it to weaker tribes long before white men came here. It is unfortunate WORLD history, not just AMERICAN history.

The purpose of History is to teach, not slaughter and enslave us going forward. Use History to prevent repeating the past not make use pay for the past.

You can start here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_among_the_indigenous_peoples_of_the_Americas … The number I gave was from one of the anthro classes I took. Couldn’t give you a proper citation now.

You can't change the past, only learn from it. Of course if you are Trudeau you can apologize about it forever.

A smart man who clearly felt pain and evil done to American “Indians” said to me that because these tribes would not change or adapt they were overcome. No one justifies the atrocities, but remember evil lies in the hearts of all mankind. There is a park here in Ilinois.
-
The park is called Starved Rock State Park. It is a favorite of the Chicago crowd. It is the story of two Indian tribes fighting with one starving the other tribe. Since Cain killed Abel we all are capable of evil to our brother. Then came JESUS
