He's just an entertainer with no subject matter expertise in philosophy. His book on arguments isn't even Intro to logic level, and his ethics book is sophomoric with no awareness of relevant prior work that every 100-level moral philosophy student knows.

No, there is an entire body of western civilization with respect to formal philosophy that massively predates any of the current political atmosphere. Being completely uneducated in the fundamentals of an academic discipline does not make someone cool and unindoctrinated.
