Fact remains it’s Individuals who change the world. Not people groups. Most white Europeans would remain serfs under feudalism were it not for some individuals doing something different.

And more specifically, those who followed the "Enlightened" view that Church thinking was significantly off-base. Once the primacy of magical thinking was rejected (i.e., religion), human potential could be turned toward other more useful goals.

White Male Science prohibited progress from other people just to claim this now. Looking at some extraordinary female contributions AND at the toxic state of the society now, I would say that these "97%" have not only helped us. "Science" could have progressed in a better way.

China was held back? Native Americans pre-Columbus were held back? They didn't even have the wheel yet. Neither did Sub-Saharan Africa until after contact. Who was holding these folks back when they were isolated?

Amazing!! A reasonable person on twitter! Also, good on ya for playing devil's advocate. Sometimes it takes those of us in the know to ask the right question to get the answer on display for the normies to see.

Ungrateful lot. White males built their press-button world, and they offered ne'er a word of thanks! Wait until it needs repair - when Coca-Cola man re-emerges in all his resplendence to fix it for you! Cos' he's the real thing.

A lot of foundational material toward world scientific progress came from math like matrices, determinants, linear algebra, which in turn had Chinese roots. In other words, the white males seem to have depended on the works of non-white males.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg1e2FEpf9w …
