I never understood how women fall for this line. On the one path, they have the opportunity and power to MAKE NEW PEOPLE. On the other, they have the opportunity to make a few dozen spreadsheets or something.

That becomes very clear anytime a young girl expresses a desire to be a mother. She'll hear from all sides that she's throwing away her life and should really try to achieve something

I can't remember that last time I talked to a young girl who had the desire to be a mother one day. My oldest is 16, I talk to she and her friends all the time. They don't dare say the dream of being mothers. sad.

It doesn't help that the Nazis held motherhood to be the highest duty and honour. In the twisted logic of the last 50 years, Nazis were bad and thus all things they liked are bad even if fills a basic biological function, second only to survival, that barren women would kill for.

I didn't know that about the Nazis. The only thing I know about the Nazis I learned from .......Steven Spielberg. I wonder how we can get girls to be interested in motherhood again?

Producing fit and healthy Germans and protecting mothers was written into the 1923 Nazi manifesto. They were expected to have 4+ kids while the State would take up much of the role of fathers. Read it online and listen to modern socialists and see so many common themes.

interesting. the current version of socialism seems to be the state is the mother and the father. I can imagine "specialists" recommending the best age to begin preschool is 6 months old or something crazy, and people would just buy it. poor kids.

I've advised my daughter to go to Uni (practical courses only)18-21. Find a decent guy and get married pronto and have her kids in quick succession in her early 20s. Do a masters slow time while she has littlies. 30-65 for an unbroken career if she wants. She gets its a trade off

Not to mention you're energetic enough to do it more easily and it will alter your perspective of the world, helping you later if you do choose a career. It also helps you to keep your nose clean and avoid mistakes that impact your future. This is especially true for young men
