Hell yeah. Plus one-meal-a-day fasting and reduced calorie intake. I dropped 90lbs in 5 months. It worked like magic.

There are drugs that will make you fat & drugs that will make you thin. Once you understand fully that REAL FOOD is medicine you will then begin to choose the right foods & the rest is easy. When one feels an abundance of REAL energy there is no going back

When the right foods are chosen in the right combination the FOOD (drugs) have a synergistic effect on the body. Here is a clue you cannot become obscenely rich from REAL food so for most the truth lays hidden as they are socially engineered in most everything they believe.

Hormones matter as much or more than calories in, calories out. Diet soft drinks, seed oils, grains (often soaked in herbicides), "vitamin enriched" processed stuff all tends to create an inflammatory response. It Starts with Food is a good read.

Ppl are responsible for their weight & health. But govt recommends grain & leaves as essential to a "healthy" diet. "Healthier" I ate, worse I felt + working out was less effective. Cook everything in lard & eat mostly meat, I feel better & stay stronger with much less work.

First month of low carb (~8 yrs ago) I lost 10-15lbs doing almost nothing exercise wise. And once the sugar/carb addiction is broken (~week 2) there are no more hangry feelings during the day ever. Mood stability like nothing I had ever experienced.

IMO it's easy to underestimate impact of universities spewing horrible dietary recs & simple cal in/out thinking. Try to eat "healthy" & fail enough times ppl will give up & blame DNA. Impacts intelligence, well being, reproductive health, etc & ripples thru families & society.
